During The Tour
Meeting Points
Exact meeting time and location for your tour are confirmed with your booking and shown on your tour's own Logistics section — they vary by tour and by service level (hotel pickup, a fixed rendezvous point, or a specific trailhead).
As a general rule, most tours start from central Cappadocia, in or around Göreme. If you're staying outside the immediate area, let us know your accommodation when you book so we can confirm pickup arrangements.
Safety Guidelines
A helmet is required on every ride, whether it's ours or your own. Your guide sets the pace and the group riding order — please follow their instructions, especially on descents, singletrack, and any road sections.
On group rides, keep a safe following distance, call out obstacles and turns to riders behind you, and let your guide know if you need to stop. Carry enough water and reapply sunscreen through the day — Cappadocia's dry air and altitude make dehydration and sunburn easy to underestimate.
Tell your guide about any relevant medical conditions, allergies or medication before you set off. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical treatment and evacuation for every trip — check your booking confirmation for our current requirements, or contact us if you have questions.
Route Maps & GPS
On guided tours, your guide leads the route and carries a GPS device, so you don't need to navigate yourself. On self-guided tours, we provide a GPS file and route notes before you set off, with support available by phone if you need it.
Route details, distance and elevation for each specific tour are shown on that tour's own page.
Emergency Support
Your guide is your first point of contact for anything that comes up during the ride. You'll also be given a direct contact number at the start of your trip.
Outside of that, you can reach us at +90 533 134 4346 or info@bikingincappadocia.com. For a genuine medical or safety emergency in Turkey, dial 112 — the national emergency number for police, ambulance and fire.
