Taking you out of the standard Goreme valley system and into an area of epic proportions, this 39km challenging ride explores remote trails by combining fast, open tractor tracks with thrilling singletracks. You will interact with locals in authentic farming towns, navigate the surreal moonscape of the Kavak flow, and splash through the jungle-like stream crossings of Gomeda Valley, finishing with panoramic ridge descents back to Goreme.
The Moonscape Descent
Pick your lines through the volcanic "moonscape" of the Kavak Flow, dropping into Gomeda Valley on trails that feel like a natural BMX pump track.
The Jungle Stream Crossings
Navigate the lush, overgrown paradise of the Gomeda and Uzengi Valleys, tackling technical stream crossings, log bridges, and tasting naturally carbonated mineral water straight from the spring.
Cultural & Gastronomic Immersion
Meet locals in Kavak village's traditional tea shop and enjoy a delicious selection of tasty local dishes at the highly-rated Cappadocia Restaurant in the vibrant town of Urgup.

A cinematic journey across the landscape.
Uchisar, Kavak, and the Moonscape
We begin with a steady climb to Uchisar and a steep technical ascent over Gemil hill, offering incredible panoramic views. We ride into the authentic, untouristic farming village of Kavak, taking in the pace of rural Anatolian life and local smiles. From here, we hit an amazing freeride descent into Gomeda Valley—a lunar-like landscape filled with natural carves and bowls.
The Jungle of Gomeda & Lunch in Urgup
Continuing along the valley floor, the terrain transforms into a "jungle" with overgrown singletracks, splash-downs, and rocky riverbeds (long sleeves recommended!). We check out the multi-storey rock-cut pigeon lofts of Uzengi Valley and stop to taste natural mineral water. An easy coast downhill brings us to Urgup, where we enjoy a wonderful restaurant lunch at the Cappadocia Restaurant.
Sunset Point & Kiliclar Ridge
After lunch, we ease into the afternoon with a gentle climb up a shady dirt track beside uncultivated fields, which are awash with wildflowers and butterflies in spring. Regaining our height, we arrive at the Sunset Panoramic point high above the Red and Meskendir valleys. From here, we embark on a fast, flowing downhill along the Kiliclar (Swords) ridge. We return to Goreme through the undulating trails of Swords Valley, taking time to explore ancient cave church complexes and photograph iconic landscapes.
