This circular 30km ride from Goreme is a mid-level dirt road and easy singletrack tour that circumnavigates the imposing table-top mountain of Boz Dagi. Suitable for all, but nonetheless challenging, the route offers a perfect blend of asphalt roads, dirt trails, and breathtaking panoramas. You will explore the historic village of Cavusin, the three-headed fairy chimneys of Pasabagi, the surreal rock formations of Devrent Valley, and enjoy unmatched views from the Red Valley Panoramic Viewpoint.

Itinerary
A cinematic journey across the landscape.
Morning (09:00): Cavusin, Pasabagi, and Devrent
Leaving our Goreme office at 09:00, we head north on paved and dirt roads towards the historic village of Cavusin, enjoying fleeting glimpses of Love, Rose, Red, and Swords Valleys. After visiting the 5th-century Church of St. John the Baptist, we set off on a relatively flat, sandy dirt track via the incredible fairy chimneys of Pasabagi to the dry, barren landscape of Devrent Valley.
Lunch (13:00): Lunch in Urgup
From Devrent, a brief asphalt climb rewards us with an easy cruise downhill to the vibrant and youthful town of Urgup. Here, we stop at the town square to enjoy a delicious restaurant lunch of traditional local dishes at the Cappadocia Restaurant.
Afternoon (14:30 - 16:00): Red Valley Panorama & Swords Valley
Leaving Urgup, we take a gently climbing dirt road up a delightful, shady valley that is awash with butterflies and wildflowers in the early season. Without too much exertion, we reach the Red Valley Panoramic Viewpoint to enjoy one of the region's most fantastic landscapes. From here, we descend on smooth, ever-narrowing trails bisecting Rose and Swords (Kiliclar) valleys, riding past stone stacks, rock-cut pigeon lofts, and age-old churches before returning to Goreme.
